This song will always have a special place in my heart. The band are one of my favourites, the lyrics are the usual standard of great images and a friend of mine said that this track and the line “wear your hair in bunches” made her think of me.
So this video is not the official one but it does show the manics at various stages of their career and that’s why I’m posting it. I turn 40 soon and I have been doing a lot of looking back over my life recently. There are parts if me that I don’t recognise anymore. Parts that almost seem as if they happened to someone else. Its a weird feeling but I seem to re-invent myself every so often. Not in a major way but in that sort of “soft reboot” way comics do. Maybe we all do?
