I suppose this is a wee bit if a follow on from yesterday. This is not my favourite Springsteen song but the lyrics are spot on in describing how I feel.
Life is generally good for me right now and the line “I’m tired of sitting here waiting for my life to begin while it is all just slipping away” is how I’ve been feeling for a while.
Things need to start happening for me to achieve all the things I’ve wanted for years and I know that I am the only person who can kick things off. I have known that for a while but there were times I didn’t think I had the strength to do it.
I do now.
This year is going to be a good one.

Also I have to point out the line “I have a woman I can call my friend” which is damn important to me and one of the main reasons I now know I can do what I have wanted for so long. Thanks @Abzquine, better days are coming for us both.
